Central Hockey Community Junior Coach Programme Year 3-8 Coaches
Kathy Norman (Central Development Manager) and Nicole Walraven (Regional Community Development Coach) are visiting PBHA on the 22nd of May
PBHA invites all Junior Hockey Coaches to attend a session with Kathy and Nicole.
Nicole came out from South Africa in September 2018 to play in our Central NHL Women’s team in Wellington.
Debuting for South Africa in 2015, Nicole has played for her national side in FIH World Leagues; Commonwealth Games and World Cup since then.
She is still a member of her National squad. Having come through the South African provincial age groups as a player, Nicole has also been involved with coaching at the U21 level and in the community space. This is complimented by her attainment of a degree in Human Movement Sciences, majoring in Biokinetics and Exercise Physiology.
Nicole has a small window from when she arrives in NZ to take up the role of Assistant Coach to the Central U21 Women’s team before she returns to her team back in South Africa so we have booked her in to visit us to support the delivery of Central community Junior Coach programmes.
Come and hear from Kathy and Nicole what we can do as coaches to help assist our tamariki with their development.
